Lexicon
A series of paintings of images to be explored over the next two years while attending Mills College’s MFA program.

This is an experiment to gauge where I diverge from or indulge in images used pre-Grad school throughout the two-year MFA process. MFA programs are notorious for changing the direction of an artist over the course of the program. This is an experiment to map the change my work will undergo while in Grad school.

It begins with painting that explores preexisting historical imagery but will it end there?
I welcome the unforeseen change forthcoming.

Participants in this experiment can purchase a small painting or drawing of one or more of these images. This painting or drawing will act as a marker of the evolution of the work, plus they look real nice. All funds from the purchase of this body of work will help me pay for tuition and related costs.
